Before you get to wear our clothing, we start with your apparel requirements and consider how you’ll use it. As consumers who want to provide comfort and support green fashion, we think about the planet, its people and their needs – throughout the entire product development process and supply and use chains.

Comfort and Function

We start with comfort, and this begins with the yarn spinning method and fiber types. Our K2N™ recycled yarn technology combined with quality knitting and environmentally friendly fabric finishing provide long lasting comfort, durability, and a great look. Then we build and design features that we hope you find useful and cool. We don’t skimp on the way we stitch our clothing, we have added reinforcement at stress points, and functional, useful features like cuff thumbhole “sleeve catchers,” MP3 pockets, and extra cargo holding capacities in our hoodies and pants.

Environmentally Friendly

What characteristics are important for the product in order to be eco friendly, and how do they fit with our values?  We want to be as environmentally friendly and sustainable in our materials, product care and processes as we can be, pre and post sale.

Sustainable

When you buy Repair the World® clothing, you get people-friendly and earth-friendly fabrics that feel fabulous next to your skin. We sweat the details in our efforts to make you and the world happy. Here’s what we do in order to be environmentally friendly and sustainable:

• Research and require certification showing that the raw material sources for fabrics used in our products do not originate from non-native or genetically modified organisms.


• In our fiber choices, minimize the use of non-renewable resources so as to minimize depletion and environmental damage, as well as avoid actions that reduce the potential for serious or irreversible environmental harm.


• Choose processes in making our products that reduce pollution in any part of the environment
